Veran is looking for an associate to support business development which will include marketing, sales, relationship development and account management, all in one role.

As Business Development Associate, you will support one of our Principle Consultants who is responsible for building relationships with HR and Technology leaders in the private sector, particularly in Financial Services. As a team, you will work together on qualifying and pursuing leads in the search for new clients and projects. You will also help build our growing research onArtificial Intelligence and Robotics in HR and manage our network of AI and robotics leaders.
You will play a key role in the continuing growth of Veran and will be given a lot of autonomy and freedom. You will also need to;
·Help to organise and host internal Veran events for our prospects such as breakfast seminars and wine tasting events
·Invite relevant leaders to our events via email, LinkedIn and telephone
·Canvas new leads by using LinkedIn and other social media to research who the key people are in companies where we want to build relationships
·Research and attend external events such as conferences, seminars and networking evenings
·Create sales and marketing material such as PowerPoint presentations, proposals, blogs and brochures
·Use Salesforce to create and manage campaigns
Your role will help to broaden and strengthen Veran’s relationships and build your own network across the industry.
·Ideally some experience in a sales or customer facing role (which hopefully you enjoyed!)
·Ideally some knowledge or experience of HR or HR technology (or at least a keen interest in learning about this area)
·Keen networker who loves talking to anyone and finding common ground with new people
·Organised approach to managing own workload
·Strong skills in Microsoft office, particularly Word and PowerPoint for the creation of proposals and slide packs
