About us

Our client is a young, ambitious and growing practice with an insatiable appetite for creation of great architecture for our clients. The office is based in Bloomsbury, only a few minutes’ walk from Goodge Street and Russell Square. They are a small but sociable practice and currently share their space with a firm of planners.

Position/Responsibilities

We are currently looking for a Graduate Architectural Technician to join our client's office. The candidate must be motivated, organised and have excellent communication and IT skills.

The candidate will be required to work on a large number of projects and must have the ability to effectively manage their time. They will be required from time to time to help writing reports for pre-planning and planning applications. They will additionally be required to prepare tender documentation and building regulations applications. 

The candidate will also be required to assist the Directors of the company as necessary. The candidate will primarily be working on residential and mixed use sites in and around the Greater London area.

Position Requirements

• The successful candidate must have a Chartered Membership of CIAT, or be in the process of becoming a member.
• Experience in a design software tool such as AutoCAD (we use Vectorworks)
• Demonstrable knowledge of current UK legislation.
• 3D visualisation skills would be advantageous.

Position Remuneration

Salary £22,000

25 Days Holidays + Bank Holidays Pension

The interviews for this role will commence in January/February 2019 aiming for a February 2019 start.
