f you are hoping to work within recreation management, for a conservation body or Local Government organisation in the future, this is an ideal opportunity to gain a range of essential skills and experience. You will be working with our Area Rangers and our Strategy and Partnership Team to lead on specific project work and also gain some essential practical experience.
You must be a student undertaking an environmental / recreation management type course or other relevant qualification. As part of your study you must be required to do an internship / placement as part of a UK-based further or higher education course.
We will provide full training and opportunities to work with partner organisations. In addition you will be gaining practical work experience, learning project management and people management skills.
Three full-time posts (37 hours per week) are available and will be based in either Kendal or our Northern Office in Threlkeld. The start date for the internship is flexible, any time between June and September 2019 for a period of 30 weeks.
