An Executive Search Researcher will need to be excellent at conducting highly detailed and thorough research into client, candidates as well as the wider market. A keen eye for detail and great analytical skills are vital. They will have a great work ethic as an Executive Search Researcher will sometimes have to work outside of a typical 9-5 hours. You will need to be resilient, there will be set back but the most successful Researchers are the ones that keep going when the going gets tough.

The roles of an Executive Search Researcher consists of:

  • Conducting extensive and detailed research into clients, candidate as well as the wider market
  • Sourcing new candidates through networking, research and headhunting
  • Attending client meetings and networking events
  • Creating longlists and shortlists
  • Keeping up to date with the latest developments in the market and researching potential job leads
