About Goodlord:
We started Goodlord because we wanted to make renting simple and transparent for everyone involved: the agent, landlord and tenant. Generation Rent means a drastic growth in the number of tenants in the market with higher levels of digital expectation, so there is now more than ever a need for agents to adapt to a changing marketplace.

The role:
This will be the perfect role to kick start your career. It will be fast paced, varied and allow plenty of opportunity for personal and professional development. You’ll be working closely with and will learn from all members of the Finance Team, as well as all other Goodlordians.
We’re a small team with lots to achieve, so you’ll need to be flexible in your approach, quick to adapt to change, excellent and managing your time and happy communicating with anyone and everyone.

Roles and responsibilities:
• Management of our payments system and client monies account
• Bookkeeping tasks such as maintaining accounts payable & accounts receivable
• Bank reconciliations for multiple accounts
• Processing employee expenses
• Dealing with customer, supplier & internal finance queries 
• Helping with monthly payroll
• VAT compliance and reconciliations
• Dropbox and Google Drive documents order maintenance
• Supporting the team with other tasks and projects (month-end, annual accounts, adhoc projects etc )

• You’re super organised and know how to prioritise to meet deadlines
• You’re amazing with numbers
• You’re a great communicator and can build effective relationships with everyone

What will make you stand out:
• Have a secret love for spreadsheets and Excel formulae
• Someone with some kind of work experience - evidence of being proactive with employment

Entry requirements:
• B grade at Maths GCSE (all accounting roles)

Included in qualification:
  1. Training on the 18 month Standard Level 3 Assistant Accountant (AAT3) apprenticeship.
  2. Being a WhiteHat apprentice means access to awesome social events, sports teams, insight/career days with other apprentices to grow your network, as well as your own personal Coach who will guide you through the qualification to help you achieve your full potential.
  3. As part of your WhiteHat Apprenticeship, you will have access to our Future Leaders Foundation modules to develop 6 key competencies, underpinned by well-being, self-awareness, motivation, conscientiousness, effectiveness and grit.
What's next:
After your Accounting apprenticeship progress into a full-time role as Junior Finance Assistant, Assistant Accountant, Bookkeeping Assistant, Junior Tax Consultant or Audit Assistant. You can also complete the ACCA qualification into Chartered Accountancy
