About Bulb:

Roles and responsibilities:
• Review and process requests for repayments to members, final bill refunds and user research payments 
• Bank cheques from members
• Ensure the billing system is updated with payments received from members 
• Work closely with Energy Specialists to actively solve all accounts receivable and payment queries from members
• Assisting the rest of the finance team with adhoc tasks
• Assisting with Accounts payable duties as requested

Skills required:
• We’re looking for an energetic, collaborative and analytical individual
• You have strong analytical skills and a structured approach to managing data and processing transactions 
• You are collaborative by default. You are comfortable working at all levels of the organisation and also keen to roll your sleeves up and get stuff done 
• Impeccable written and verbal communication

• You desire to pursue a career in Finance/Accounting
• Are able to work within a team but also individually

Entry requirements:
• B grade at Maths GCSE (all accounting roles)
• GCSE English (Literature or Language) grade C- A* (or 4-9) or level 2 functional skill

Included in qualification:
  1. Training on the 18 month Standard Level 3 Assistant Accountant (AAT3) apprenticeship.
  2. Being a WhiteHat apprentice means access to awesome social events, sports teams, insight/career days with other apprentices to grow your network, as well as your own personal Coach who will guide you through the qualification to help you achieve your full potential.
  3. As part of your WhiteHat Apprenticeship, you will have access to our Future Leaders Foundation modules to develop 6 key competencies, underpinned by well-being, self-awareness, motivation, conscientiousness, effectiveness and grit.
What's next:
After your Accounting apprenticeship progress into a full-time role as Junior Finance Assistant, Assistant Accountant, Bookkeeping Assistant, Junior Tax Consultant or Audit Assistant. You can also complete the ACCA qualification into Chartered Accountancy
