Europa Worldwide is recruiting NOW for Graduate Account Managers to work in our Road Division. Account Managers are the growth engine within our business we have a number at each of our branches but we want to grow our 30 strong-team and this is where you come in! As a Graduate Account Manager, you can expect:

  • Your first two months to be focussed on training with our programme designed to support your development within the role (incorporating Europa-specific training in telesales, face-to-face selling, closing, objection handling, Europa’s products, services and business infrastructure, a thorough understanding of the sector in which you will operate - everything you need to develop into a fully-rounded Road Account Manager within our business and a solid foundation on which to begin your career with us).
  • To be responsible for the entire sales process from beginning to end including front-end customer service. You’ll be making outbound telesales calls to leads you’ve sourced from our database (or elsewhere – get creative!), making appointments, attending those appointments, quoting the customer, closing the business and managing the customer’s business on a continual basis. None of this ‘get the business then hand it over to someone else to manage’…that just doesn’t work for us.
  • You’ll use your acquired skills alongside your personality, determination and tenacity to build solid relationships with your customers so that they only ever want to give their business to you. Why would they need to speak to any other freight company when they have their own, personal Account Manager who takes care of everything they need?
  • You’ll become an extension of your customers’ business and you’ll deliver on the promises you make to those customers – always.
  • You’ll be operating within a progressive targeting scheme which focusses on business retention and development and drives sales and customer service in equal measure. Through this scheme you’ll develop your own, personal business portfolio for which you are entirely responsible and you’ll receive reward for that in the form of uncapped OTE.
  • As you develop through the scheme you’ll have the opportunity to become a Senior Road Account Manager and to employ your own staff to support your business growth and development. Your start salary (basic) will be £20k per annum but don’t forget the uncapped OTE.
  • Did I tell you that many of our Directors & Senior Management Team started out as Account Managers in precisely this way? The Account Manager role offers a superb opportunity to learn the internal mechanisms of our business and industry sector from the ground up – skills which are vital within our Management Team…
