Graduate Analyst – Investment and Development

The Analyst Programme is a two-year graduate development scheme designed to expose you to the different career paths within Greystar’s Investment & Development departments. You’ll rotate every 6 months through the Acquisition, Portfolio Management, Asset Management and Development teams; gaining strong business skills and leadership experiences along the way. At the end of the programme, you will be well equipped for your permanent placement and ultimately, to drive the success of the business in the future.

Rotating through the four key disciplines, this is a central and diverse role, providing key support to the execution of our investment strategies. The Analyst will engage in research, underwriting, modelling and analysis to support and determine the feasibility of new investment & development strategies and opportunities as well as supporting in the ongoing analysis and presentation of key performance information both internally and to external investment partners, with a focus on driving well-informed and value-enhancing decisions.

Knowledge & Qualification required:

As our ideal candidate, you’ll have a passion for real estate and a keen interest in investment & Development.

  • Educated to degree level or equivalent (2:1 and above) in a related business or analytical subject; such as finance, business management, real estate, accounting, economics, mathematics, statistics, science or engineering.
  • Experience in the research gathering, analysis, reporting and presentation of financial and business specific data preferably in a related sector – evidenced with practical workplace/internship experience.
  • Highly numerate, with strong quantitative and qualitative analytical skills and attention to detail
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills; including the ability to effectively write and present reports and information.
  • Excellent interpersonal skills including the ability to establish and maintain positive relationships.
  • Naturally inquisitive and commercially minded, with a desire to understand the bigger picture and contribute to understanding and solving problems
  • A positive team player, with an adaptable and flexible approach along with ability to work collaboratively to drive results and support the wider team and business objectives.

Personal development is at the heart of this offer. We will provide you with the training (internal and external) necessary to equip you for a career in real estate investment. This begins with an induction in your first few weeks, followed by continuous training and personal development throughout the two-year programme. To help with career development, you will have one-to-one meetings with line managers, regular performance reviews, and mentorship.
