DRIVE Software Solutions Limited is a dynamic UK company dedicated to the development and delivery of software solutions for Fleet, Vehicle Management, Contract Management and Leasing. Our award winning software solution, DRIVE, is used throughout the world by leading vehicle leasing companies, major vehicle manufacturers and other operators of large vehicle fleets. We have a policy of continuous product enhancement and DRIVE’s modular structure enables us to meet the precise and unique needs of each of our clients.

As a result of our success we have embarked on a programme of growth and are now looking for Junior Business Consultant to join our expanding Professional Services Consulting team. The Position

Junior Business Consultants

When you join DRIVE Software Solutions as a new business consultant you will be part of the Professional Services team. Working within the Professional Services consultancy team will help you to develop the essential core skills relevant to working with clients while supporting you in becoming successful as a DRIVE consultant. The Professional Services team is focused on providing implementation, support and other consultancy services to existing and new clients in the UK, Europe and Australia.

As a business consultant you will have the opportunity to work on a range of DRIVE strategic and operational projects for both internal and external clients while building a solid foundation for your business career. You will work with leading global organisations in the Vehicle Leasing and Fleet Management sector which will expose you to many different operating environments, work practices and cultures.

As your develop your career with DSSL you will be exposed to a spectrum of consulting experiences across various areas including Software Implementations, System Upgrades, Data Migrations, Customer Relationship Management, and Project & Risk Management. This is likely to involve activities such as quality assurance, problem solving, software testing and business analysis. All of these transferable skills are essential to your work at DRIVE, and having the opportunity to apply these skills will ensure that the knowledge you gain at DSSL will benefit you career progression.

The role will also require you to be heavily involved in understanding our Customers’ Operations, including their business processes and day to day procedures. This is very important to DSSL as our Business Consultants are ultimately the ones responsible for transforming business requirements into functioning software for our end users. Therefore understanding our customers’ requirements and business processes is essential for gap analysis identification and for producing a functional end to end solution.

You will receive mentoring by senior team members, job shadowing and other forms of learning so that you become thoroughly acquainted with all facets of the product and successful project implementation.

This role is expected to entail occasional long hours and travel.

You will be required to: -

  • Provide support / consulting associated with the implementation of DRIVE and Professional Services opportunities
  • Liaise with customers at all levels to ensure their requirements are met
  • Work within a team environment
  • Learn quickly and absorb new ideas
  • Contribute to the continued evolution of the DRIVE Software Solution

  • Educated to degree level (or higher) in a relevant subject such as Business Management Computer Science, Mathematics, Accounting or Law. Other subjects will be considered but with a preference towards Science, Engineering or Business based subjects.
  • Have the ability and willingness to travel both nationally and internationally
  • Current travel documentation allowing you to travel as required throughout Europe, Australia and the United States


Salary will be commensurate with experience in the range £22K
