We have partnered with one of the largest and most successful asset management recruitment firms in the country. With over twenty years of experience recruiting for this sector, they specialise in sourcing candidates for senior appointments within asset management and provide their clients with unrivalled expert market knowledge. To continue building their success, our client is looking to expand their London office. To do this they are looking to hire highly-motivated and ambitious recent graduates to join their team as graduate recruitment consultants.

Our client offers an outstanding training programme to their graduate recruitment consultants. You will receive a market leading 12 weeks training scheme that will provide you will all the skills and knowledge to be a highly successful graduate recruitment consultant in the asset management sector.

Our client also offers their graduate recruitment consultants an industry leading uncapped commission scheme. This means that successful consultant will earn money on top of their basic salary, which can see them earning over £30k in their first year. Graduate recruitment consultants that meet their target with our client will receive fantastic incentives such as company holidays, meals at Michelin Star restaurants, tickets to sporting events and nights out on the company card.

The key responsibilities of a graduate recruitment consultant:

  • Identify target candidates through desktop research and speaking to their network of contacts in person and over the phone.
  • Maintain regular contact with clients and candidates, both face to face and on the telephone
  • Continually work to generate new business by identifying new leads and referrals and exploit all potential business opportunities
  • With the Partner, make judgements on which candidates to shortlist

A successful graduate recruitment consultant will be:

  • Driven to succeed in a target led role, with a high level of self-motivation
  • Able to work in a fast paced environment, having a proactive rather than reactive approach to clients and candidates
  • Well presented, with excellent communications skills and the ability to converse with senior clients and candidates and build strong levels of rapport early on
  • Well organised, with the ability to prioritise and balance workflow
  • Recent graduate with a 2:1 from a top university
