Foundation Financial Planning is a small firm of Independent Financial Advisers (IFA's). We provide financial advice and recommendations to individuals, businesses and trustees. We work with our clients on a wide range of financial areas to include the investment markets to preserve and grow their capital and ensure their financial arrangements are effective for the purposes of tax. The learning environment you will be exposed to allows access to a wide range of fascinating areas, legal financial and tax. We are a close friendly unit working together for the benefit of our clients. This is a full time office based position based in Haywards Heath West Sussex. Haywards Heath has excellent rail links but we are looking for an individual who is within 40 minutes of our offices. This position may not be suitable for someone re-locating.

Graduate opportunities at Foundation Financial Planning

We are looking for a graduate to complete the Diploma in Financial Planning and then progress to Chartered Status if they desire it. The support for these qualifications will include on the job training, out of office workshops, seminars online training and in-house training. This is a rare opportunity to acquire experience in a fast moving exciting environment where financial expertise is used to benefit clients. You will be involved in all aspects of the financial planning process but initially will be supporting our investment advice process in portfolio construction and arranging data for our client annual reviews where performance is valued and evaluated. You will be assisted and have responsibility as well.

What are we looking for

We are looking for a 2:1 or above in a suitable discipline and 280 UCAS points from your top 3 A-Level grades you may be able to apply with less than 280 UCAS points based on the context of your educational and personal experiences. You will need to be able to work as part of a team, communicate at a prominent level and have enthusiasm initiative and drive. We would like you to demonstrate these attributes at your interview. Pay and other benefits

Starting salary of £23,750.00 rising to a minimum of £24,750.00 after the first year. For the longer term, salaries for Independent Financial Advisers vary, a median amount would be £65,000.00 pa. However a £100,000.00 pa plus is quite common. Other staff benefits include gym membership after 3 months and pension contributions. All exams and exam materials and training are funded by the practice you will also have paid study leave of half a day per week. This is our third year of taking on a graduate and we currently have two graduates passing through the graduate training process.
