We are looking for a Insight Executive to join our London based team. You will be responsible for assisting the team to gather and communicate insight across the business for commercial and marketing purposes. You will be an advocate for sound research and analysis principles, able to draw evidence based insights from the data sources available. This role reports to the Head of Insight and requires someone with an analytical and curious mind, ready to learn and keen to get stuck in.

Day-to-day you will help with quality control of POI (Point of Interest) locations on specific projects and assist in building the data collection functions in the Blis Platform (all training will be provided - there is no expectation of prior knowledge). In addition to this, you will help with analysis - drawing out relevant observations that have consumer / media / commercial / wider business implications for our clients and report generation. More broadly you will keep up to date with the latest developments in retail, research, and the wider economic landscape to provide regular updates to the team that help to enrich client specific and macro category reports.

The Candidate: 

  • The ideal candidate will have a minimum 2:1 degree from a reputable university with units in Maths, Engineering, Statistics and Economics.
  • Familiarity with quantitative research methodologies and analysis, with the ability to cut through the data and present the key findings in a simple way, to allow action to be taken are fundamental qualities we look for.
  • In addition to being comfortable working with numbers, you must also able to interpret their meaning in the context of an individual’s / group’s everyday life - i.e. not as data in isolation.
