About the role:
Joining us for a 12 month placement within our Digital, Data and Technology Directorate in the vibrant, waterfront city of Plymouth, you’ll have the opportunity to work across a number of different IT areas, developing your skills and experience.
The Digital, Data and Technology Directorate is the in-house IT division for HMLR. Our teams are at the heart of HMLR’s move to more agile delivery of cutting-edge digital services while maintaining our excellent system availability to our customers
Experience of using databases, building and maintaining hardware and data and system security would be a benefit. Your main duties will include database administration; the installation, administration, management and maintenance of databases in support of HMLR business. This includes supporting our core casework systems.
Currently engaged in a relevant (IT-related) degree programme, and looking for a placement year in industry.
