The Role:
We’re looking for 2 people to join Deliveroo's IT team to act as an initial point of contact to the business for any hardware or software enquiries in order to deliver a high-quality service to the business. This is an 18-month fixed term contract and you’ll be working with us, WhiteHat, the apprenticeship provider for the duration of that time and balancing your apprenticeship work with your workload at Deliveroo. Roles and responsibilities:
• Being the first point of contact (first line) support for all desktop and laptop users
• Setting up new computers and printers for new starters
• Routine maintenance and monitoring of IT systems
• Helping with onboarding new hires and getting them set up
• Managing accurate lists of active staff in our apps
• The support of Google products (G Suite) along with the hardware and software for Mac, Chrome and Windows devices including OS support
• End-user and product support for printers and photocopiers
• Manage the IT recycle programme for the organisation
• Manage and set up new hardware following IT policies and procedures
• Provide AV support to staff (assisting with sound and visual assistance for different mediums)

Skills required:
• Good customer service skills - (the business users are our clients so we need to ensure we’re delivering a quality service. Key to this are verbal and communication skills which we need to be excellent)
• Working knowledge of Google products and Apple products and iOS to support end users and the ability to produce high-quality documentation would be advantageous 
• Have a real desire and passion to pursue a career within Deliveroo, with the drive to succeed

Personal qualities desired:
• Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to build strong relationships with people
• You will need to well organised and be able to prioritise workload
• Finally a great attitude. It’s not purely about what you do but how you do it - be inquisitive, take a proactive approach to your career and apprenticeship and be a great team member.

Entry requirements:
• Five GCSE grades C – A* (or 4-9), including Maths and English
• Good knowledge of IT packages e.g Microsoft Office, Google Docs/Sheets etc.

Included in qualification:
  1. Training on the 18 month Standard Level 3 Business Administrator (BA3) apprenticeship.
  2. Being a WhiteHat apprentice means access to awesome social events, sports teams, insight/career days with other apprentices to grow your network, as well as your own personal Coach who will guide you through the qualification to help you achieve your full potential.
  3. As part of your WhiteHat Apprenticeship, you will have access to our Future Leaders Foundation modules to develop 6 key competencies, underpinned by well-being, self-awareness, motivation, conscientiousness, effectiveness and grit.
What's next:

After your Business Administration apprenticeship progress into HR, Recruitment, Sales, Marketing & PR, Real Estate, Personal Assistant, Office Management, Business Management. Most of the above can be completed in a higher-level qualification.

Working hours: 9:30am-630pm, Monday to Friday

Salary: £20,000

Apprenticeship duration: 18 months
