Junior Recruitment Consultant

We are currently looking for several Trainee Recruitment Consultants to join a rapidly growing team based in ST Albans.

As the successful Trainee Recruitment Consultant, you will work as part of the sales team, finding suitably qualified candidates for our world class clients. You will work closely with the Business Development team to ensure that the business responds quickly and efficiently to client requirements with the CV’s of well skilled and appropriately experienced technical candidates.

Some of your responsibilities will include:

  • Using the Company’s qualitative selection process to select candidates
  • Effectively network within the candidate pool
  • Preparation and posting of adverts to various job sites
  • Selling the job opportunities that the company is working on to suitable candidates
  • Maintaining appropriate contact levels with candidates to ensure that they are continually informed at every step of the recruitment process
  • Supporting the Business Developers with communication and administrative arrangements during the recruitment process.
  • Ensuring that the candidate is fully informed of the role that you are discussing including all the necessary skillset requirements, location and rates of pay
  • Effective, concise and accurate advertisements and written correspondence

To be considered for the trainee recruitment consultant position you will:

  • Be flexible and adaptable; ability to change priorities and adjust to constantly dynamic environment
  • Be able to work independently or in a team
  • Not be frightened by working long hours
  • Have strong interpersonal skills with bright and outgoing personality
  • Have effective written and verbal communication – articulate and numerate
  • Always project and maintain a professional and positive attitude
  • Manage your own time effectively and prioritise workload to generate the maximum effect and reach deadlines
  • Be able to work under pressure whilst remaining positive and professional
  • Be ambitious and driven
