The role:
The scope of this role is very wide, and you will provide support to all departments when needed. During your time with us you will see the inner workings of a successful content production company. You will be able to experience the breadth of the work we do here and find out more about what you want to do in your career.

Roles and responsibilities:
1. Office Management 
• Ensure that all office, kitchen and stationary supplies are fully stocked and areas kept tidy 
• Ordering stock as required and directed by the Receptionist or Head of People & Office 
• Providing cover for the Receptionist, answering telephone calls and emails. Forwarding them to the relevant person in a timely manner 
• Bookings couriers 
• Booking meeting rooms 
• Assist reconciling company credit cards 
• Any other office management tasks that will be vital to the smooth running of the department

2. Production Runner
• Sorting through printed articles 
• Making sure each studio has water for the voice-over artists 
• Making tea and coffee for the team and keeping it topped up 
• Buying breakfast & lunch for the team 
• Helping to keep the reception area tidy during the day 
• Proof-listening to recorded articles 
• Supporting the production team on location 
• Helping with any props that are needed

3.Other responsibilities 
•Transcribing social content 
• Writing guest notes for the branded podcast 
• Location research for speech audio department 
• Preparing script notes for music radio department 
• Research for podcast series

Skills required:
• Ability to prioritise workload and multitask in order to meet deadlines 
• Willingness to work flexible hours when needed 
• Excellent communication skills (written and verbal) 
• High attention to detail - IMPORTANT
• Experience of using Microsoft Packages

Personal qualities desired: 
• Able to work as part of a team 
• Keen interest in a career in media 
• Technically minded

Entry requirements:
• Five GCSE grades C – A* (or 4-9), including Maths and English
• Good knowledge of IT packages e.g Microsoft Office, Google Docs/Sheets etc.

Included in qualification:
  1. Training on the 18 month Standard Level 3 Business Administrator (BA3) apprenticeship.
  2. Being a WhiteHat apprentice means access to awesome social events, sports teams, insight/career days with other apprentices to grow your network, as well as your own personal Coach who will guide you through the qualification to help you achieve your full potential.
  3. As part of your WhiteHat Apprenticeship, you will have access to our Future Leaders Foundation modules to develop 6 key competencies, underpinned by well-being, self-awareness, motivation, conscientiousness, effectiveness and grit.
What's next:
After your Business Administration apprenticeship progress into HR, Recruitment, Sales, Marketing & PR, Real Estate, Personal Assistant, Office Management, Business Management. Most of the above can be completed in a higher-level qualification.
Working hours: 10:00am - 6pm, Monday to Friday
Salary: £16,500
Apprenticeship duration: 18 months
