Operations Assistant

We are looking for an energetic, responsible, and organised individual to join our customer service team as an Operations Assistant supporting our Lindamood-Bell Learning Centre. Responsibilities include supporting our Office Manager by answering the phones, processing information requests, collecting payments, and other projects/general office work as assigned. This is a regular full-time position.

  • Answering phones, transferring calls, checking voicemail, and processing messages
  • Act as break monitor, overseeing students’ breaks
  • Use various computer programs to process payments, manage expenses, build schedules, and edit timesheets
  • General office duties including, filing, watering plants, organizing bookshelves, and general office clean up
  • Work with IT Department to support technology needs at the Center
  • Work with Centre leadership and HR to recruit and screen applicants using our applicant tracking system
  • Manage a physical filing system and move equipment around as required, for example computer monitors
  • Perform occasional errands outside of the office
  • Interact positively and professionally with clients and staff to provide a safe and positive work environment


  • A-levels, or equivalent
  • 1-2 years experience in an office environment
  • Intermediate computer skills, including word processing and spreadsheet utilisation
  • Desire to work in an environment with children and families
  • Strong interpersonal skills, attention to detail, and ability to multitask
  • Must pass pre-employment screening and clearances
