£20,000-£24,000 D.O. experience/qualification, + bonus, holiday, pension
We are a small but growing professional services firm in NW London looking to hire an assistant office manager to help the Practice Manager handle the organisation of the business and assist the Partners. We are easy going in life but serious about our work, and are looking for an energetic, enthusiastic, organised and competent person to co-ordinate the day-to-day management of the business, administration of client cases and assist in the development of the company.
The primary aspect of the position is to help manage the administrative/operational aspects of the business. This includes answering the telephone, dealing with new client enquiries, organising the office and maintenance of the facilities/IT systems, managing suppliers, and everything else required to keep the business running smoothly. We want you to manage all the tasks in a proactive and independent manner and we have several projects currently underway.
Secondary but equally important responsibilities will include ad hoc PA-type tasks, organising the partners' diaries; helping the partners with their personal organisation; liaising with external partners; assisting the preparation of marketing material; and researching business opportunities.
With experience you will also be involved with the administration and logistics around each client case and the client book as a whole. You will be helping to, among other things: be the first point of contact for new clients; manage the initial processing and administration of each case as it comes in, be the main contact for clients in relation to the logistical aspects of their case; manage the client during the closing of each case; manage the client book and organise the digital and physical files of each client.
We require someone who is extremely organised, completes their work to a high standard, has very good attention to detail, can take the initiative, takes pride in their work, and fit well within the team.
