As a Software Engineer working with the HPE Development team, you will join an industry-leading organization and will get engaged in the full lifecycle software development of the most advanced products and services. You will have the opportunity to work with a global product team for software design, development, test and release. You will be exposed to a wide range of technologies across the entire software stack.

It’s GAME ON if you have:
•Bachelor of Science or equivalent degree in progress in Maths, Computer science or related area of study
•Intelligence - a successful candidate will probably have or be expecting a 2:1 or First Class degree in a technical subject
•Has the ability to learn new technology, products and languages quickly to deliver results
•Able to communicate and present complex issues with assurance and confidence.
Useful technical skills for the role include:
•Experience with Java, C#, or another object-oriented backend language
•Awareness of MVC architecture and design patterns
•An interest in design and user interfaces
•Experience writing automated tests with JUnit, Selenium and Jasmine.
None of these are hard requirements, as technology choices are dictated by the needs of each project. Successful candidates will need to be able to learn new languages, frameworks and tools on the job, as required.

Buddies are aligned from the previous year’s graduate group to provide informal advice and information. In addition, our dedicated graduate managers are available to make the graduates’ first year in HPE as successful as possible.
