Summer 2018 Internship Opportunities at Buzzacott

Our summer internship programme is a fantastic opportunity to gain new skills and tangible work experience and also help you make decisions about your future career.

It is designed to help prospective graduate trainees learn more about Buzzacott and the type of work we perform as a professional services firm.

Buzzacott’s summer internship programme is aimed at penultimate year university students. We have the following internship opportunities available at Buzzacott this summer 2018:

Audit Assistant Interns on either our Charity and Not-for Profit Team or our Corporate and Business Services Team

Tax Consultant Intern on our Private Clients Tax Team

When do the internships start and how long will they last?

Internships will last for 6 weeks and the start date for 2018 will be Monday 18th June with an expected end date of Friday 27th July.

Which team?

Private Client Team

The Private Client Team help individuals plan their lives by growing and protecting their wealth. From marital settlements and HMRC investigations, to retirement planning and international tax planning for non-domiciled individuals, the team work to ensure that their clients are fully aware, compliant and correctly structured.

Charity and Not-for-Profit Team

For chartered accountants, the charity and not-for-profit sector presents a unique challenge – one that simply cannot be contemplated without special knowledge, experience and empathy.

Since its foundation, Buzzacott has been involved with the sector and has grown alongside it, developing the skills needed to advise on structure, governance and accounting in a different and changing regulatory environment.


Corporate and Business Services Team

The Corporate & Business Services team support businesses at every stage and under all conditions - from a standing start to the size at which it needs an audit and beyond. The team provide the flexibility and responsiveness of a small firm, together with the wide range of services and support that you would expect from a large firm.

Minimum entry requirements

Candidates wishing to apply for an internship must have:

  • Or expect to obtain a 2.1 degree in any discipline
  • Excellent GCSE's with a minimum of a B grade in English and Maths, or equivalent
  • A minimum of 300 Tariff UCAS points, (120 using new tariff) or equivalent
  • Successful candidates must have the right to work in the UK, without restrictions

We do not accept General Studies or applications from part qualified applicants.
