Join us this summer!
As a summer intern you’ll work closely with dynamic and enthusiastic professionals who are committed to making a difference. It’s the only way to gain an insight into a world renowned healthcare organisation as complex as ours!
Over the 10 week programme you will experience Management Accounting, Capital and Corporate Finance, Treasury, Financial Services and Financial Accounting. You will also attend meetings and shadow Senior Finance colleagues and front line staff to ensure that on your departure you have seen as much as you can of how we work.
During your time here you will also be given a project, either individually or to work on with other members of the finance team which will run alongside the “day job” – time management is definitely a skill we value here. In your final week you will then present your project to our Senior Finance Team, discuss your progress with them and receive feedback that will hopefully help you in the future.
With opportunities to visit hospital sites and observe Clinicians this internship is unlike any other. It is a fantastic way to see where your personal interests and motivations lie, and indeed whether or not a career in public finance is for you.
You’ll definitely gain insights and experience that will be invaluable going forward!
If this unique opportunity is something which appeals to you and you are either in your penultimate summer of university or a recent graduate then please tell us why you think you’d be great for this role as well any other points you feel may help your application.
