The Training Administration team forms part of the council’s award winning Business Operations Service, who have recently been awarded the Customer Service Excellence Charter (2017) and now work in partnership with East Sussex County Council and Brighton and Hove Council under Orbis. As a centralised function, the team’s primary role is to oversee, coordinate and organise training sessions and events for the council.

Working as part of our admin team you will be responsible

  • Booking training sessions, events, trainers and venues
  • Liaising with delegates to book them onto courses
  • Data inputting
  • Dealing with adhoc enquires
  • Working as required with external stakeholders and our HR and Organisational Development (OD) teams

To be shortlisted to interview your CV and personal statement (no longer than one A4) will clearly evidence proven successful experience of:

  • Working well under pressure.
  • Experience of providing high levels of customer care and professionalism to members of the public and stakeholders.
  • Having high levels of attention to detail.
  • Strong IT skills including the use of spread sheets and databases.
